Jamiroquai New Track ! White Knuckle Ride

Jason “Jay” Kay, lead vocalist, wrote the all the lyrics for the new album, called “Rock Dust Light Star.” As the title suggests, the music is supposed to evoke the feeling of traveling among the stars with a sweet horn groove in the background.

Everything on the record will be acoustic, the band has said, with no electronic or computerized elements to maintain the organic punch of funk, soul, and disco. The first track on the album, “White Knuckle Ride,” has been posted on the official Jamiroquai Web site listen herer now . It displays smooth vocals layered on top of soft drums and guitar strokes.

Rock Dust Light Star is the seventh studio album by Jamiroquai, stated to be released in November 2010.[1] It will be the band's first studio album since 2005's Dynamite. The album has been recorded mainly at Jay’s home studio in Buckinghamshire, and also at legendary Hook End Manor in Oxfordshire and Karma Studios in Thailand. The album is entirely written by Jay Kay and the band, and produced by Jay alongside first time collaborators Charlie Russell and Brad Spence.
