Fallon, who inherited NBC's "Late Night" franchise from Conan O'Brien, poked fun at NBC for its handling of O'Brien's departure from the "Tonight Show."

"NBC asked me, the host of 'Late Night,' to come to Los Angeles to host a different show. What could possibly go wrong?" Fallon joked as cameras panned to Conan. "Too soon?" he asked.

Director Looking For Buyer For New MJ Footage/Film

Michael Jackson could live again on the big screen — TMZ has learned a former Jackson associate is trying to shop around a full-length movie featuring unseen rehearsal footage from MJ’s 1981 concert series.

The man behind the deal is Ron Newt — who claims he was so close with Michael, and that the singer gave him special behind-the-scenes footage from Jackson’s 1981 Triumph Tour.

Now, after seeing the success of “This Is It ” — Newt tells TMZ he’s put together a 64-minute feature film from his footage … which includes several candid moments involving MJ and his brothers. Michael can also be seen dancing, singing and directing the stage production.

Newt tells us he’s already getting offers from several interested parties — with proposals reaching into seven figures.

Guns N' Roses' Reading Festival set ended in chaos tonight (August 27), when the sound was cut after the band overran by more than an hour.

The band, led by Axl Rose, took to the stage over an hour after schedule, at 10:30pm (BST), to play their headline slot at the festival. Despite earlier warnings from festival organiser Melvin Benn that he would not tolerate the band playing past 11:30pm, they still managed to play the majority of their set until roughly midnight - when they walked offstage after playing 'Night Train'.

However, as the band tried to return for an encore, the sound was cut. Led by Rose, they still tried to launch into 'Paradise City', though only the drums could be heard as all other instruments had been switched off. As the crowd started to sing the track, Rose tried to greet members of the audience while singing through a megaphone - watch fan footage of the incident on the right now.

The band continued in this way for roughly five minutes, before finally coming together on the stage to bow and walk off.

Earlier in the day, Rose had tweeted: "Bkstage at Reading. Tour's ON! Our apologies 4 any inconvenience. Peace!"

However, he failed to apologise to the crowd for being late, and barely spoke to the audience during the gig. He received a hostile reaction from some parts of the crowd throughout the gig, with some booing after every song and repeatedly chanting, "What a twat".

Jason “Jay” Kay, lead vocalist, wrote the all the lyrics for the new album, called “Rock Dust Light Star.” As the title suggests, the music is supposed to evoke the feeling of traveling among the stars with a sweet horn groove in the background.

Everything on the record will be acoustic, the band has said, with no electronic or computerized elements to maintain the organic punch of funk, soul, and disco. The first track on the album, “White Knuckle Ride,” has been posted on the official Jamiroquai Web site listen herer now . It displays smooth vocals layered on top of soft drums and guitar strokes.

Rock Dust Light Star is the seventh studio album by Jamiroquai, stated to be released in November 2010.[1] It will be the band's first studio album since 2005's Dynamite. The album has been recorded mainly at Jay’s home studio in Buckinghamshire, and also at legendary Hook End Manor in Oxfordshire and Karma Studios in Thailand. The album is entirely written by Jay Kay and the band, and produced by Jay alongside first time collaborators Charlie Russell and Brad Spence.

Big Brother 11 winner Josie will be joined by 10 familiar faces from former series of Big Brother.

The first housemate in was former Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle. The Essex-girl walked into the house exclaiming "Oh my god, this is so weird!."

The blonde babe was almost immediately re-united with ex-husband Preston, who she married after meeting on the show. He gave his old missus a massive hug, before introducing himself to Josie.

They were joined by Big Brother 5 winner, Portugese transexual Nadia Almada.

Big Brother 2 winner and TV personality Brian Dowling was the next in. He rushed into the house asking "why am I doing this again?"

He was soon joined by Celebrity Big Brother winner Ulrika Jonsson and Big Brother 6 housemate Makosi. Loudmouth racing pundit John McCririck was the next to enter Ultimate Big Brotherm, with Gangsta's Paradise rapper Coolio hot on his heels.

Nikki Grahame was the penultimate housemate in. The 28 year old promised she had calmed down since Big Brother 7.

The final housemate to go in was Nasty Nick - the Big Brother 1 contestant is still the most notorious villian of all 11 series of Big Brother. He walked into the house promising he'd obey the rules, this time.

They will all stay in Big Brother for 18 days, before one of them is crowned the 'Ultimate' Big Brother housemate of all.

Shia LaBeouf has plans to once again star alongside Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones as his son, Mutt Williams, says a report from ShowbizSpy.

The actor is quoted as saying that he's been pitched the idea for the fifth film in the franchise by Steven Spielberg himself.

"They're script writing right now," said LaBeouf, "...[I]t sounds crazy. It sounds really cool."

Though it's impossible to say how long the writing process might take, LaBeouf's comments seem to be the first confirmation that a fifth Indiana Jones adventure will indeed be a sequel to 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, for example, was technically a prequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark, a storytelling technique that George Lucas and Spielberg don't seem to have plans to revisit.

Adobe have announced that the full version of Flash Player 10.1 is now available to download from the Android market.

The new software is only available on Nexus One and HTC Desire handsets running Android 2.2/Froyo, but Adobe confirmed that other handsets, such as the Samsung Galaxy S will be able to download Flash Player 10.1 within the next few weeks. They also hinted that upcoming devices may come with Flash already pre-installed.

Many iPhone users may be saddened to hear this news as Apple still have no plans to incorporate Flash software into any of their devices, proving Android may well be a step ahead.

Guns N' Roses confirm gigs still on after Twitter hack

Reading and Leeds Festival have denied that headliners Guns N' Roses have pulled out of this month's event.

It was after singer Axl Rose's Twitter account was hacked with the message: "all upcoming Guns N' Roses dates are officially cancelled".

Festival bosses confirmed that the Reading and Leeds performances and an October arena tour will go ahead.

The misleading tweet, posted late on Sunday night also urged fans to return their tickets.

However, in a statement Festival Republic told Newsbeat: "(We) are informed by GN'R management that Guns N' Roses have NOT cancelled their performances at Reading & Leeds and that Axl Rose's Twitter account was hacked into and all claims of dates being cancelled are unfounded."

That means that the rockers' recently announced UK arena tour - their first in four years - will still go ahead.

The band are lined up to play London, Birmingham and Manchester in October, as well as other shows across Europe over the next three months.

Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox officially announced today that all six live-action Star Wars films will arrive on the Blu-Ray format in Fall 2011 as a commemorative box set.

The news, part of this week's Celebration V festivities, promises "the highest possible picture and audio presentation, along with extensive special features – including documentaries, vintage behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, retrospectives and never-before-seen footage from the Lucasfilm archives."

“Blu-ray is the absolute best way to experience Star Wars at home – in pristine high definition,” said George Lucas of the release, “The films have never looked or sounded better.”

Samsung Releases 3D TV For Under $1000 - £650

Well, it’s finally happened – the first 3D TV with a sub-$1000 price tag has arrived, courtesy of Samsung! Their new 50-inch PN50C490 will be offered for just $989, which is a whole $400 less than what you can currently get as the cheapest 3D TV set on the market.

The TV features a resolution of 1365×768p, which is a rather uncommon one, but that’s a minor issue to consider when you’re getting a 3D TV for such a cheap price. Apart from that, it also has 3 HDMI 1.4 ports, a USB port and support for ConnectShare, for easily connecting your digital camera to the TV.

Of course, you still won’t be able to see any of the glamorous 3D unless you don a pair of Samsung’s Active 3D glasses, but hey – it’s a cheap 3D TV! The PN50C490 is now available for pre-order, so you’d better hurry and place your dibs while stocks last (considering the hotness of the offer).

3D will be leading the next generation technology for television, according to a new survey by Frbiz.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms.

The analyst says that at present, LED, OLED, and 3D technologies are the hottest developments dominating the next generation of television but that the latter will eventually be the leading technology.

.Frbiz.com points out that LED TV market share has increased steadily offering a superior better picture quality compared with liquid crystal product applications. Yet, it adds, that only LED’s market share has improved and there has been no real improvement in technological innovation. The end result, Frbiz.com suggests, is that the current market price of LED televisions is far higher than ordinary LCD TVs televisions and can be considered unreasonable.

However, Frbiz.com believes that as more and more movies, games and sporting events use 3D technology in production and broadcasting, manufacturers like Changhong, Samsung, Panasonic and others are increasing plasma screen technology research to realise 3D technology breakthroughs. It also argues that compared with LED, the technical difficulties associated with 3D TV are relatively small and the cost is relatively low. Plasma TVs are the best 3D carriers.

Given these circumstances, Frbiz.com concludes that 3D will be leading the next generation of television.According to the agency's forecast, China's domestic retail sales volume of 3D TV will reach 29,200 units in 2010, 1,926,800 units in 2011, and 4,759,900 units by 2012. The corresponding product's permeability respectively is 0.08%, 5.01% and 11.34%

In the survey, more than 70% of respondents said they understand 3D TV, while over half of urban respondents said they are looking forward to 3D TV.
